COMMON CLUB MOSS - (Lycopodium clavatum) Club moss tea combats gravel and colic in the urinary tract, spasmodic retention

purifies the blood by straining and filtering toxins and wastes from the bloodstream and improves blood circulation. Dandelion
increases the body's secretion of bile by over 50% and helps elleviate obesity. Assists in conditions such as acne, itchy,
scaly rashes and eczema, Good for cholesterol distribution.
DEAD NETTLE

thereby aiding digestion. Taken in large doses it acts as a laxative, while external application of horehound is a counter
to various skin diseases.

HORSETAIL - (Equisetum arvense) Contains minerals and is recommended in anaemia and general debility. Regarded as
an excellent astringent for the genital and urinary systems. Very handy in the treatment of fluid retention, cystitis,
incontinence and bed wetting in children. Use for haemorrhoids and internal bleeding. Use for white spotting and broken
nails and lifeless hair. Its silica content encourages the absorption and use of calcium by the body guarding against fatty
deposits in the arteries. Externally, horsetail poultices aid the healing of wounds, ulcers and skin eruptions.
HYPERICUM
HYPERICUM - See St John's Wort ICELAND MOSS - (Cetraria islandica) Take for a range of bronchial conditions including
respiratory catarrh, bronchitis and asthma. Beneficial for kidney and bladder disorders as well as debilitating gastro-enteritis
and cystitis. For nursing mothers it stimulates the flow of their milk but should be avoided by nursing mothers suffering
from inflamed breasts or nipples. Externally it can be applied for poorly healing wounds.
INDIAN CORN
INDIAN CORN - (Zea mays) Demulcent and very soothing to the urinary passages. Good as a reliable diuretic and weight
reducer. Use to combat chronic or acute cystitis, nephritis, gout and rheumatism. Useful for acidosis, kidney stones, renal
colic, oedema, fluid in the heart, incontinence and bed wetting. Good for the kidneys, neutralising and promoting excretion

JUNIPER BERRY - (juniperus communis) Beneficial for the whole of the urinary system - kidney, bladder and urinary passages.

LIQUORICE
LIQUORICE - (Glycrrhiza glabra) A valuable medicine for the digestive system. It acts as a gentle laxative and lowers
stomach acid thereby relieving heartburn. Heals stomach ulcers by spreading a protective gel over the stomach wall and eases
spasms in the intestines. A good remedy or gastritis and lung complaints with its soothing, expectorant and antispasmodic
properties. Take it in case of bronchial problems, coughs, hoarseness, mucous congestion and chest complaints and to reduce
fevers. Has antibacterial properties. It will help stimulate the flow of bile, lowers blood cholesterol and provides relief
in the case of allergies.
MALLOW
MALLOW - (Malva sylvestris) Useful in countering inflammation of mucous membranes, particularly in the bladder, gastro-intestinal
tract and mouth. Use it to combat phlegm in the lungs, bronchitis, coughs, hoarseness, laryngitis and tonsillitis. The
tea is very valuable in the treatment of pneumonia, gravel and all kidney diseases and is particularly beneficial for inflamed
bowels. Prepare a luke warm infusion and use it as a wash externally for allergies of the face, sore inflamed eyes

MEADOWSWEET - (Filipendula ulmaria) One of the best digestive remedies for most conditions. Protects and soothes the

diarrhoea. Beneficial in reducing fever and relieving rheumatic pain in muscles and joints. Useful in the treatment of

MISTLETOE
MISTLETOE - (Viscum album) Use to strengthen the heart as it is considered one of the best remedies for the heart and
circulatory complaints. It has a steadying effect on blood pressure - whether high or low. Recommended for side-effects
of abnormal blood pressure such as blood rushing to the head, dizziness, buzzing in the ears and visual defects. May be used
